Josh Hicks does not support a wall on the southern border with Mexico

o      In an Aug. 11, 2019, interview on Kentucky Newsmakers, Josh Hicks said, “You know, I support a strong and secure border, and I support a clear and fair immigration system. But Bill, I don’t support a wall. It’s 2019 not 1619. I want something that secures our border and it works. I want something that uses our tax dollars wisely that can’t be defeated with a ladder. I want something that makes use of the technological advances that we’ve made since the 1600s you know, whether it be drone security and enhanced patrols like that. I just don’t think it makes a lot of sense to spend money like that.”[1]
